Profile International N.V introduces the environmental concept ‘Natural(ly) Mobility’ for the business market. This will be implemented via the successful CarMasters, in which all the company’s business formulas and concepts are represented. With the new concept, fleet owners and lease companies can add additional environmental services to their own service packages. As such they can make an even more valuable contribution to a cleaner environment and more pleasant living conditions, in a relative easy manner.

Silent tyres and nitrogen filling
By means of the concept Natural(ly) Mobility, the Profile Tyrecenter branches, 1,2,3/// Autoservice and abc Autoservice will promote the use of silent tyres. Silent tyres reduce the noise made by tyres by several decibels. An excellent choice, for the RIVM (Dutch research institute) has indicated that nearly 30% of all people living in the Netherlands – in the age of 16 and older – experience serious hindrance from sound pollution resulting from traffic. A correct tyre pressure contributes to the reduction of sound produced by tyres. By filling tyres with nitrogen instead of oxygen, the tyres will continue to have the correct tyre pressure as the larger nitrogen molecules cannot easily leak through the casing of the tyre. The filling with nitrogen is one of the services included in the new Carmasters concept. As tyres with the correct tyre pressure have a longer life span and ensure a lower fuel consumption, it is not only a double profit for the environment, it is a financially attractive as well.

Clean air, inside as well as outside the car
Furthermore the encouragement of the use of (retro) soot filters, periodic maintenance of air-conditioning systems and the New Style of Driving are central points of attention with regard to Natural(ly) Mobility. All three are essential matters contributing to a clean air outside the vehicle. A poorly maintained air-conditioning system needs to work harder to keep the air at the required temperature. This results in an increased fuel consumption and a higher CO2 emission. Periodical air-conditioning maintenance ensures the optimal condition of the system. Furthermore an air-conditioning in top condition cleans the air within the car. This has impact on an improved condition of the driver as well.

Profile Tyrecenter in combination with four European chains, establishes a European Economic cooperation (EESV) by the name of TEN.

The objective of the EESV is a closer cooperation and sharing know-how in Europe.

In combination with four other European chains, Profile Tyrecenter established a new Pan-European cooperation by the name of TEN, in Liverpool (UK) on 2 October 2007. TEN is the abbreviation of Tyre European Network and has over 2,100 associated companies. The new European cooperation will be cooperation in a more structural manner and will exchange know-how. The mutual objective is to offer customers a stronger European network with regard to a Pan-European tyre service(including 24/7 tyre problem service).

Profile Tyrecenter, with 180 branches, is active in the Netherlands, Belgium and Romania. Furthermore Profile Tyrecenter has an impressive network of Pan-European colleagues for the European (24/7) tyre service. In order to further professionalise this service, Profile Tyrecenter has the need for a Pan-European cooperation: which explains the name TEN. Apart from Profile Tyrecenter in Belgium, the Netherlands and Romania, Top Service Team from Germany, SEAS24 from Spain / Portugal, Tyrenet from the United Kingdom and Tyre Team from Italy are TEN co-initiators. Currently far-reaching discussions are held with new members from other countries.
